Every component and material used for Coltrane Supreme, from top to bottom, is state of the art.
The cabinets are some of the most advanced ever built. Plywood forms the interior, with solid wood fronts and carbon fibre laminate board at the sides.
Inside is an advanced five-way system, comprising six 9” ceramic bass-woofers, four 7” ceramic mid bass woofers, one 7” ceramic lower mid-range, one 2” diamond mid-range and one 3/4” diamond tweeter. It also has active bass, using a separate amplifier specifically designed for the system.
All of this technology translates to incredible results. You can expect realistic reproduction of massive orchestras, with every nuance audible. Even the most complex sounds are reproduced faithfully. Indeed, the reproduction is so revealing that it is only suitable for top-of-the-line systems.
