Coltrane Supreme Extreme premieres in Hong Kong to landmark reception
At Asia’s largest hi-fi show, with more than 30,000 visitors, we brought the largest system we’ve ever assembled and Coltrane Supreme Extreme made its debut in unforgettable style. Six premiere performances over three days filled the biggest room at the Hong Kong High End Audio & Visual Show 2025, drawing packed audiences and setting a new benchmark for sound.
Coltrane Supreme Extreme premieres in Hong Kong
Last weekend we unveiled Coltrane Supreme Extreme at the Hong Kong High End Audio & Visual Show 2025. It was a debut set against a backdrop of scale: the biggest room at the biggest show, and the largest system we have ever presented.
Our partners at Fung Ning gave us the perfect stage to match the occasion. The room was full from morning to evening, with visitors spilling into the aisles. We held two premiere performances each day, with six in total, and while the atmosphere was lively and social, the focus sharpened every time the music began.
What followed was unlike anything we’ve experienced at a show — seasoned listeners, many with years of high-end audio behind them, responding immediately to what they heard. Several made their decisions on the spot, a rare occurrence at events of this scale and a clear sign of how strongly the new flagship resonated.
Throughout the weekend we received constant feedback from colleagues and peers about the new standard of sound Coltrane Supreme Extreme had set. It wasn’t just the clarity or the scale, but the sense of realism that drew people in and kept them listening.
Presenting the sessions were Jörgen Olofsson, CEO; Leif Olofsson, Chief Designer and Founder; and Martin Dunhoff, Global Sales Manager. Together they introduced the speaker, shared its story, and guided audiences through a carefully chosen selection of music that showed its full capability.

The combination was formidable and hearing it in such a large, open space reinforced just how far we’ve pushed the boundaries with this new flagship. For us, it was more than a successful launch; it was an extraordinary moment in Marten’s history.
