Introducing our new distributor: Advance Audio Australia
We’re pleased to welcome Advance Audio Australia as our new distributor for Australia. Based in Sydney and rooted in over three decades of hi-fi experience, Advance Audio Australia is led by Nigel Ng.
Nigel grew up in the world of high-end audio. He started working at Audio Connection during school holidays when it was still run by his uncle Josef Riediger, who founded the company in 1987. After Josef’s passing in 2020, Nigel took the reins and continued the journey with a clear vision: to bring exceptional hi-fi to more people.
What sets Advance Audio Australia apart is its unique setup. Alongside the distribution company, Nigel also leads Audio Connection Australia with Arthur Petrides and Sam Di Maria — a retail company that supports the distribution efforts of Advance Audio Australia. Over time, that network has expanded to support dealers across Australia and New Zealand. This combination of retail and distribution gives Audio Connection a deep understanding of the whole audio ecosystem — and it shows in how they do business.
We admire their clear dedication to service, and their understanding of what truly drives this industry forward. As Nigel puts it:
“For us to exist as an industry for decades to come, everyone – manufacturer, distributor and retailer – needs to be able to present, demonstrate and support our products to the highest level, and that’s only possible through continual training… and continual accountability.”
Their Sydney showroom is a perfect reflection of that mindset — elegant, modern, and built for serious listening. Even though our speakers haven’t landed just yet, the space is more than ready. We’ll be sharing more once Marten is on the floor, but for now, here’s a glimpse of what customers can look forward to.
