The Absolute Fidelity award
Coltrane Supreme Extreme has been awarded Absolute Fidelity by Fidelity, the top recognition in the German magazine’s 2026 awards.
The award follows Fidelity’s visit to our facility in Sweden. The writer is drawn less to the specifications than to what they are in service of. Each pair takes more than 800 hours to build. The cabinet is a carbon fibre monocoque. The crossover uses only first-order filters — a discipline Leif imposes on himself, the writer notes, that makes the speaker harder to design and easier to disappear into.
What stays with us is the passage describing two visually dominant towers, on pressing play, seeming to dissolve into a believable rendering of the music. That dissolution is the point. The engineering exists to deliver it.
